Rest In Peace Councilor Rob Ford

My deepest and sincere condolence to the family of Rob Ford -  the former mayor of the great city of Toronto.

You will forever be known as the People's mayor and the mayor that really makes a difference!

You are the type of mayor who relentlessly work for the this city of Toronto. Who works with passion and wholeheartedly devote your life to the betterment of the city.

I know this blog is about things to do in Toronto which mainly for things that people love to see in Toronto but this time it is also a good idea to give respect to great councilor and mayor of Toronto!!!

Post Biggest Winter Storm of 2015-2016 Winter Season

The biggest winter storm that hit Toronto for winter season of 2015- 2016 has passed.

It was a real messy drive to work anywhere you would like to go in Toronto today, March 2, 2016.

I drove my son to school today as most if not all school buses for Toronto, York, Durham, and the vicinity area were cancelled.

The main roads are a little bit clear and its being cleared as I write this article. So I assume that by the end of the day, it will be a better drive. The main highways 401, 404, 403 or shall I say the 400 series are cleared and have a better driving conditions at the moment.

But for all air travelers, they should check with their respective airlines as there are still some cancellations and delays at PEarson Airport in Toronto.

It has been a big winter storm story for Toronto Canada as for the most part of the winter season was mild with very little snow.

Yesterday, March 1, 2016 when it started, the snow was coming down light and with flurries at times and by Dinner time it started to intensify.

Here are pictures of the before and after the biggest winter storm of 2015-2016 season!

As you can see its not the REAL Big storm but since we did not have the Freezing cold Temps and Snow for the winter season, they sounded like its really a big winter storm!!!
